COVID-19 UPDATE 11th May 2020:

The health and well-being of our staff and patients is paramount still.  We are continuing with the important safety measures and extra disinfection protocols to ensure patients and our staff are protected as much as possible. These include:
  • Separate waiting areas to support social distancing protocols
  • Longer appointment times to allow full sterilisation of consulting rooms and to minimise the number of people in the practice
  • Stringent hand washing practices for both staff and patients
  • Confirmation phone calls to ensure patients are well and have not been in contact with anyone diagnosed with COVID-19 or travelled overseas recently.
  • Standard sanitising practices for instruments used by patients
  • Increased disinfecting procedures for common areas including benches, keyboards, doorhandles.
  • Incorporation of slit-lamp shields
  • Disinfection of optical frames with every use
  • Discontinuation of spectacle sonic cleaning
  • Single use probe for tonometry
We hope this reassures you that we are committed to ensuring Bridge Eye Care is as safe as possible for our patients and staff.

Kind Regards,
Kristin, Kelly and the Bridge Eye Care Team
